The Energy Charter Implementation Group will hold its first meeting in 2018 on 1 February 2018 from 10:00 at the premises of the Energy Charter Secretariat in Brussels.

The Energy Charter Conference will hold its 28th Meeting on 28-29 November 2017 in Ashgabat under the Chairmanship of Turkmenistan. 

On 6-8 November, the Energy Charter Secretariat Knowledge Centre will hold the 11th edition in its series of Executive Training Programmes for Young Energy Professionals in Brussels, Belgium.

The Energy Charter Budget Committee will hold its second meeting in 2017 on 20 October from 14:00 at the premises of the Energy Charter Secretariat in Brussels.

The Energy Charter Strategy Group held its second meeting of 2017 on 19-20 October beginning at 14:30 at the new premises of the Energy Charter Secretariat in Brussels.

The Energy Charter Implementation Group will hold its fifth meeting on 19 October 2017 from 10:00 at the premises of the Energy Charter Secretariat in Brussels.

The International Energy Charter hosted a workshop on potential standardisation of LNG contracts on 29 September 2017. The participants of the LNG workshop discussed an initial report on potential standardisation of LNG agreements. 

The Energy Charter Secretariat is pleased to announce that the third meeting of the Energy Charter Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) in 2017 will be held in Beijing, China on 28 September as a full day event (09:00-17:00). 

The Energy Charter Budget Committee will hold its second meeting in 2017 on 15 September 2017 from 10:00 at the premises of the Energy Charter Secretariat in Brussels.

On 14 September 2017, the Energy Charter Implementation Group held its fourth meeting at the Energy Charter Secretariat in Brussels. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Sergey Katyshev (Kazakhstan). The Implementation Group collected input for the Ashgabat Declaration, which is expected to be adopted at the Energy Charter Conference in Turkmenistan, 28-29 November 2017.

The second meeting of the Energy Charter Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) in 2017 will be held in Brussels, Belgium on 14 September as a half-day event (09:00-13:00). The meeting will be co-hosted by WindEurope and will take place at the new premises of the Secretariat (Boulevard de la Woluwe 46, 1200, Brussels). 

On 12-14 June 2017, the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Mediation Institute (IMI) and the International Energy Charter designed jointly a 3-day mediator training course tailored for investor-State disputes. The course took place at the ICSID's facilities in Washington, D.C.
