Cooperation activities with other organisations

The Energy Charter Secretariat also cooperates with other international organisations, academic institutions and other energy sector stakeholders in areas of mutual interest. These activities are based on different operational modes, such as Memoranda of Understanding (MoU), Letters of Understanding (LoU), Projects of mutual interest as well as enhanced cooperation.

The Memoranda of Understanding bring together the Energy Charter Secretariat and other partners to attain the goals of strengthening cooperation through joint activities, promoting knowledge related to all energy matters, and supporting the knowledge sharing on the Energy Charter-related matters.

The Energy Charter Secretariat signed a Letter of Understanding on Cooperative Activities with the Secretariat of the International Energy Forum in November 2007.
