The Energy Charter Secretariat is pleased to announce that the third meeting of the Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) in 2016 will be held in Prague, the Czech Republic on 6 September 2016. The meeting will be hosted by ČEZ (IAP member). We also invite you for an informal evening in Prague on 5 September. 

The International Energy Charter (under the Japanese Chairmanship), the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and Waseda University are organizing a joint workshop on Monday 22 August 2016 at Waseda Nihonbashi Campus (Tokyo).

The Energy Charter Secretariat, the Senate of the Republic of Colombia, the National Federation of Departments and the Externado of Colombia University are organising a joint conference on Wednesday 3 August 2016 at the Senate of Colombia in Bogotá. On 20 July 2016, the Energy Charter Secretariat held a roundtable on transparent energy markets as a side event to the UNCTAD World Investment Forum (WIF) in Nairobi, Kenya. The event ‘Transparent Markets for Sustainable Energy Investments: Policy Options for Sustainable Development Investment Strategies’ discussed the available policy options within an ‘integrated investment and sustainable development strategy’ which preserve and promote the factors enabling sustainable energy investments.
