The  1st OPEC – ECT – OFID Annual Legal Workshop on Energy, Law and Development will take place in Vienna, Austria on 30 & 31 October 2019. 

The topics for discussion will include the legal considerations for transition from the oil industry to renewable energy and perspectives for climate change regulation and adjudication in the energy industry. The Workshop highlight the importance of international cooperation in energy matters. Speakers will include representatives of key intergovernmental organizations, legal experts, industry stakeholders and academia.
