The 26th Energy Charter Conference begins in Tbilisi

The 26th Energy Charter Conference under the Chairmanship of Georgia begins today in Tbilisi. 

The Energy Charter Constituency will first meet in the Statutory session to discuss the main achievements  of 2015 and also the plans for the Second Phase of the Modernisation Process of the Energy Charter. The Statutory Session will be open only to delegates from the member states and observers of the Energy Charter. 

On 4 December, the Conference continues with a Ministerial session that will address the topic of strengthening regional cooperation through cross-border energy trade. The Ministerial session will include participants from international organisations and the energy industry.
