The purpose of the webinar was to introduce the main principles and potential of the Investment Facilitation Toolbox. The Toolbox is intended to identify barriers which impede investment in the energy sector and illustrate actions and best practices to overcome them. The webinar was the first activity within the implementation process of the Investment Facilitation Toolbox by the Republic of Uzbekistan. The webinar was conducted by the Investment Unit of the Energy Charter Secretariat, and the participants included 20 officials representing the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Energy and the public-private partnership (PPP) Development Agency under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
