The review team included officials from the Swiss Office of Energy, Swedish Energy Agency, Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and was supported by experts from the Energy Charter Secretariat. The team had three days of meetings with high-level representatives from various governmental institutions, as well as with the financial donors' community and a number of stakeholders active in Tajikistan in the area of energy, including renewables, and energy efficiency.
The review team developed its first draft recommendations based on its assessment of Dushanbe meeting outcomes and discussed these with the Tajik Ministry of Energy and Industry and other stakeholders during the last day of the mission. The findings of the review team and the in-depth energy efficiency review report will be presented at the PEEREA Working Group meeting in October this year. It is expected that the final recommendations will be submitted for endorsement by the Energy Charter Conference at its meeting in December.
