The Energy Charter Secretariat welcomes the decision of Azerbaijan and Turkey to speed up the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) before the planned date in 2018 as it believes this will enhance energy security of Europe while also benefiting the parties involved, namely Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, the three members of the Energy Charter Treaty.
