They discussed recent developments in the energy sector, the ongoing modernisation of the Energy Charter Process and possible means to further cooperation between OPEC and the Energy Charter.

While in Vienna, Dr. Rusnák also met with representatives of the Austrian Ministry of Science, Research and Economy, and the Ministry of European and International Affairs. The parties discussed the Energy Charter's expansion and outreach policy, as well as recent developments within the African Union and ECOWAS.
