The Report was prepared by Prof. Shan during his stay in Brussels as a Fellow at the Energy Charter Secretariat, with the assistance of Peng Wang. Among other relevant participants to the Conference was Ms. Hongyu Shen (Judge at the Supreme People’s Court of the People's Republic of China). At the same event, the Legal Counsel of the Energy Charter Secretariat made a presentation on the current efforts of the Secretariat to produce a clear and effective framework for amicable resolution of investment disputes in the energy sector (good offices and mediation).
