The Forum was attended by approximately 250 people, among others, Ministers responsible for energy from several countries, senior government officials, industries, international agencies and other related parties. It gave a detailed energy outlook for Indonesia in relation to its South East Asian neighbours and to the rest of the world. In the session on financing infrastructure, director Defilla spoke about removing barriers to international trade and investments. He outlined the actuality of the International Energy Charter as a tool for implementing several energy-relevant targets set by the United Nations in the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals. For doing so, the Energy Charter closely cooperated with all its member states and with other international organisations.
