At the meeting Mr. Küneralp updated them on the Modernisation Process of the Energy Charter, including the geographical expansion of the Energy Charter Process and the content of the 2015 International Energy Charter. Regional energy cooperation in Latin America was also discussed, including the opportunities of being an observer to the Energy Charter Conference and the favorable impact of the agreement on international energy principles for each of the countries and the region.
