The meeting was an opportunity to highlight the benefits for a country of being an Observer to the Energy Charter Conference. The Energy Charter Secretariat will host, for three months, a secondee appointed by the Colombian government. Starting mid February 2016, she will make an assessment of the Colombian investment climate from the perspective of the universal principles of the 2015 International Energy Charter. The secondee will present the objectives of her work during the Energy Dialogue with Latin American countries at the Energy Charter Strategy Group on 8 March 2016. Other presentations will include Chile, Mexico and Brazil.
