Delegations welcomed the presentation of the report on Energy Efficiency Policies of Kazakhstan and recommended to the government of Kazakhstan to implement the policy recommendations of the report with the aim of improving the overall energy efficiency in the country. Following the exchange of information on the UN Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All) Energy Efficiency Accelerators Initiative, delegations expressed their support and encouraged individual countries to join this platform, thus contributing to achieving the global energy efficiency target of SE4ALL. On statutory matters, delegations agreed on the priority activities for the group's programme of work for 2015 and requested the Strategy Group to consider initiating a process for changing the status of the PEEREA Working Group to a Standing Group, including discussing the Group Terms of Reference and way of operation.
