On 3 March 2026, in accordance with Article 42(4) of the Energy Charter Treaty (ECT), the Slovak Republic deposited with the Energy Charter Secretariat, in its capacity as the Depositary of the ECT on an interim basis, an instrument of ratification of the amendments to the ECT adopted at the 35th Statutory Session of the Energy Charter Conference, held on 3 December 2024 in Brussels.
