Legal Training on Investment Dispute Resolution (21-23 September 2021)

The Energy Charter Secretariat (ECS),  together with the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) are organising a legal training on investment dispute resolution for governmental officials.

The training will guide the participants through the main stages of investment arbitration and mediation with special focus on the role of the government representatives and insights from officials of the SCC, PCA, UNCITRAL and ICSID. In addition, the Conflict Resolution Centre of the ECS will explain the available tools for prevention and management of investment disputes.

The training, free of charge, is open only to government officials and will be held in English.
