On 3 and 4 June 2024, Acting Secretary-General, Ms. Atsuko Hirose, held a number of bilateral meetings with the state secretaries of the member states of the Energy Charter Treaty on the margins of the Baku Energy Forum.  Ms. Hirose met with the Secretary of State, Ministry of Energy of Romania, Mr. Pavel Casian Niţulescu; the State Secretary, Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Moldova, Ms. Carolina Novac; and the Deputy State Secretary for Energy Policy, Ministry of Energy of Hungary, Mr. Márk Alföldy-Boruss.

The parties discussed the continued cooperation with the Energy Charter Secretariat going forward.
