On 12 April 2025, Acting Secretary-General, Ms. Atsuko Hirose, met Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, on the margins of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. 

The parties discussed exploring potential future cooperation in light of the overlapping member states of the respective organisations, and in alignment with the objectives and implementation mechanisms of the Turkic Green Vision of OTS.
