On 3 June 2024, Acting Secretary-General, Ms. Atsuko Hirose, met with the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Bulgaria, H.E. Iva Petrova, on the margins of the Baku Energy Forum.  

The parties discussed the continued cooperation between Bulgaria and the Energy Charter Secretariat going forward.
