On 27 June 2025, Acting Secretary General, Ms. Atsuko Hirose, attended the reception in celebration of the World Mongols Naadam Festival.  

The reception was opened by welcoming remarks of H.E. Mr. Luvsanvandan Bold, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Belgium, Kingdom of the Netherlands and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the Head of the Mission to the European Union.  

The event was attended by the Ambassadors of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan.  All five Central Asian countries and Mongolia are the member states of the Energy Charter Treaty.

Ms. Hirose also attended the World Mongols Naadam Festival on 28 June 2025, which featured many cultural events of Mongolia, and which was the largest gathering of Mongolians from all over Europe.
