On 11 May 2017, the International Energy Charter will host a seminar on investment mediation for government officials. The interactive and informal seminar aims to provide government officials with a practical understanding of the key issues involved in investment mediation with foreign investors and with relevant advice on how to deal with potential obstacles. A mock case will be used to provide hands-on advice on the different stages involved in a mediation. It will be delivered together with the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) and the International Mediation Institute (IMI).
The seminar will take place at the new headquarters of the International Energy Charter: Boulevard de la Woluwe 46, Brussels. There will be a reception for the participants and the diplomatic community during the evening.
