Armenia Country Work Programme for 2017

Following a comprehensive assessment of the institutional, legislative and regulatory environment of the Armenian energy sector--as well as consultations with national authorities, the EU Delegation to Armenia and other stakeholders--EU4Energy Governance activities this year consist of the following:

  • Buttressing rules and regulations for energy efficiency in buildings and energy-related products;
  • Identifying legal and regulatory risks hindering investments in the energy sector;
  • Supporting technical capacity-building in public institutions dealing with energy policy.

NOV 2017 - The Energy Charter Secretariat and the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia co-organised a high-level roundtable assessing the investment climate in Armenia's energy sector.
