Country Work Programme for 2017
Following a comprehensive assessment of the institutional, legislative and regulatory environment of the Belarus energy sector--as well as consultations with national authorities, the EU Delegation to Belarus and other stakeholders--EU4Energy Governance activities this year consist of the following:
- Assisting with the elaboration of legislation on a competitive electricity market taking into account EU and Eurasian Union energy regulations;
- Identifying legal and regulatory risks hindering investment in energy efficiency, as well as in the electricity and energy sectors;
- Supporting technical capacity-building in public institutions dealing with energy policy.
